Darian Young, MSW Candidate
Darian Young is a graduate student currently pursuing a Master of Social Work (MSW) at Colorado State University, where they also completed their Bachelor of Social Work (BSW). With a robust educational foundation and diverse hands-on experience, Darian is dedicated to fostering positive change and supporting individuals through various stages of their lives.
Darian’s professional journey includes valuable work in multiple settings, including mentoring adolescents, providing support in a harm reduction center for adults, and advocating for victims of trafficking. These experiences have honed their skills and deepened their commitment to addressing complex social issues with empathy and insight.
In their practice, Darian employs a relational and client-centered approach, integrating mindfulness, cognitive coping skills, and attachment theory to tailor interventions to each individual's unique needs. They also incorporate neurobiological integration and somatic techniques along with Internal Family Systems, to enhance therapeutic outcomes and support holistic well-being.
